just another instance of Rethuglican hypocrisy

Mitch McConnell (R – of course), inveighs against the government’s plan to find out which treatments work for which diseases, because he’s afraid the government might try to decide with treatments people can get. He says that our American system is the that these decisions are made by doctor and patient.

Ahem. Does the term “partial-birth abortion ban” mean anything to you, Senator? Isn’t that the bill you voted for? The one that allowed the government to decide what treatment a woman can get regardless of her doctor’ advice?
